How my journey began

I am a classically trained dancer of 20 years. Movement has always been my life. I graduated in May of 2018 from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance with an emphasis in Ballet. I then went on to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise Specialist, and a Power Plate Trainer.
After years of reflection, performing on stage was not what made my soul sing. I had trained intensely, and I was injured a lot while dancing. I was injured so much that the night before my last surgery the anesthesiologist called me to ask if I was a professional stuntwoman. He was serious.
None of my injuries had made sense to me. I was strong, passionate, and knowledgeable AF about my body, so why was my body continually betraying me?
It wasn’t until I began instructing at Pure Barre while still attending school that I realized a need to make my body, my beautiful sanctuary, powerful, strong, and full of grace.
I began to teach a practice of movement that emphasized the power of a group, moving away from a narcissistic practice I had previously devoted my life to. I was finally able to fully let go of 20 years of training.
After college, I moved to Los Angeles and immersed myself in group fitness as well as one on one training. I found that connecting with individuals from all backgrounds lit me up from the inside out. I care deeply about our body's unique architecture, and emphasize form immensely in my work.
We deserve to learn about our bodies in a way that allows us to be able to make adjustments to our alignment on the mat or the couch.
My workouts range from three minutes to 50 minutes,  because you deserve to make time for yourself no matter what your life demands of you. Some days I feel like taking a killer barre class, some days I feel like a dumbbell HIIT Upper Body blast, some days  I want to naughty dance cardio until I am absolutely drenched in sweat and lay face down in it.
I’m here to guide you through whatever kind of movement you’re feeling each day, so you can go out and project yourself boldly and with intention. I believe wholeheartedly in sweaty sculpt sessions lead from the heart. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with all of you.

My Mission

Through movement rooted in strength and bright spirit, my mission is to bring a wide variety of workouts that are for any human, any body. I strive to uphold a safe and intersectional space where everyone can commit themselves to practice even on days where it might seem impossible.
