Yummy Berry Smoothie

My go-to almond milk vegan smoothie snack.

Ingredients (use what you’ve got and get creative and know that I don’t normally measure anything whoops):

Almond Milk - 1 cup

1/2 Cup Frozen Raspberries

1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries

1/4 Cup Fresh Strawberries

1 Banana

2 Handfuls of Spinach

3 tablespoons of Flaxseed Meal

Dash of Cinnamon

This smoothie is both delicious and packs a nutrient dense punch. Flax seeds are high in Omega-3 Fats, may help improve cholesterol, high blood pressure, and are a rich source of lignans and protein. Feel free to add in peanut butter, almond butter, etc. for more protein. Although I know that eating fruit is best on an empty stomach I often make this super late at night when I’m still hungry for something!
