A portion of sales from subscriptions or live classes are given to different social change initiatives throughout the year.
Founded in 2019, LPP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cannabis criminal justice reform out of the belief that if anyone is able to profit and build wealth in the legal cannabis industry, those individuals must also work to release and rebuild the lives of those who have suffered from cannabis criminalization.
Calvin Tucker - @blacknoah1
Calvin Tucker is an animal advocate located in Bessemer, Alabama who works tirelessly to create homes and voices for the voiceless animals of Alabama and beyond. To date, Calvin has trapped over 600 cats, feeds over 90 feral cats daily, TNR’s and has found homes for 123 cats, 28 dogs, and 2 alpacas. Click on the image to see his feature in The Dodo.
Womankind
Founded in 1982, Womankind works with survivors of gender-based domestic violence to build a path towards healing. Formerly New York Asian Women’s Center, they specifically work with Asian immigrant women experiencing domestic violence by providing resources and information in 18+ Asian languages and dialects and offer a 24/7 multilingual helpline.
Barstool Fund
A fund dedicated to helping small businesses in the US impacted by COVID-19 for the duration of the pandemic. So far, 71 businesses have been supported and the fund is up to over $17 million dollars. 100% of the net proceeds are going to helping these small businesses.
$1 from every sweatshirt sale will go directly to the fund.
The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement and The Alzheimer’s Association
Preeminent organization focused exclusively on women and Alzheimer’s in the search to answer why two out of every three brains that develop Alzheimer’s belong to women. The organization funds research and educates people about brain health and Alzheimer’s prevention.
Giveaway donation through Instagram Live on 12/28/2020 raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Armenia Fund
On November 2nd, all proceeds from the live Zoom class will be donated to the Armenia Fund which helps the people of Armenia and Karabagh through humanitarian and infrastructure development. It was established in 1994 in Los Angeles, CA and has implemented over $120 million of that assistance and humanitarian aid worldwide.
A live Zoom class was held to raise money.
Farm Sanctuary & Sanctuary at Soledad
These organizations’ missions involve fighting the disastrous effects of animal agriculture on animals, the environment, social justice, and public health through rescue, education, and advocacy in addition to providing forever homes to thousands of animals.
10% of the second month of subscriptions was divided between these two organizations.
Black Table Arts
Black Table Arts is a Minneapolis based pro-black nonprofit arts organization whose mission is to provide access to quality, art-based programs that center education, social justice, and artistic development to uplift black lives.
